Service Description
Nomi Forest Explorers is bringing little hands and curious minds to working farms across our community for a summer-long learning series. Over six Wednesdays from 4:00–5:30 p.m. (times may vary occasionally — check the schedule), we'll visit a different farm each week — including Amnesty Freedom Farm, Z&N, and other local family farms — to meet & learn about the animals, learn about the crops, and step into the daily rhythm of farm life. At every visit, our explorers will: * Meet the livestock or see the crops that make each farm unique * Walk through a real day-in-the-life with the farmers themselves * Pitch in on age-appropriate chores — feeding, watering, gathering, tending * Engage in a different focused lesson each week * Enjoy plenty of free time to pet animals, run through the fields, and ask a million questions This is a parent-attended series so the whole family can explore together. Note: a few Wednesdays will be skipped for holidays — the full schedule will be sent out closer to the start date! What to bring: boots, a backpack, a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray if you have it. We'll have snacks & backup supplies on hand. Cost (for the full 6-week series): * $55 per child for passholders * $65 per child for non-passholders * Each additional child: +$10
