Join NoMi Forest Explorers for a magical and sensory-rich forest hike where science and wonder meet. During our walk, we will use the PlantWave device to listen to the subtle electrical signals of living plants—translated into beautiful, ambient music in real time. As we explore the trail, children will have the opportunity to observe plants closely, learn how they grow and respond to their environment, and experience the forest in a completely new way. We’ll pause along the hike to connect the PlantWave to different plants and trees, noticing how the sounds shift and change from one living being to another. This experience blends ecology, technology, mindfulness, and curiosity. It invites children to slow down, tune in, and deepen their relationship with the natural world—reminding us that the forest is alive in more ways than we often realize.
