Kaleva Days Parade & Lemonade Fundraiser

Join NoMi Forest Explorers for one of our favorite summer traditions — Kaleva Days! This year we'll be walking in the Kaleva Days Parade again AND this year we will be running a lemonade shake-up fundraiser to support NoMi — roadside-stand style. Kids and adults will take shifts throughout the day selling lemonade from Kelsey's house, and anyone is welcome to sell lemonade or other items alongside us. What to expect: 11am: Gather at Kelsey's house to set up the market stand and start selling! (Address provided upon registration) All day: Lemonade shake-up fundraiser — kids and adults rotate through shifts at their leisure. Bring other things the kids have made to sell as well if you'd like! 7pm: Walk together in the Kaleva Days Parade as a community If you are coming around dinner time, we will have some burgers and hot dogs to put on the grill. Please feel free to bring anything else you would like to eat or a side to share! After dinner we will go play at the park, then line up for the parade at 6:45. Dress code: Tie-dye! Wear a tie-dye shirt of your choice, or make a natural dye shirt with us on June 29 at MGTCC — free for members, $5 for drop-in. Marching in the parade is completely free and open to everyone. We welcome anyone who wants to walk with us — no experience required, just community spirit! 🎉 We are hoping to have at least 5 families signed up to be at Kelsey's at 11am to help get the market stand started.
