Native Seedlings Project
10/10/26 11:00am @ MGTCC 🌾 The Final Chapter — Seed Saving & Closing Celebration
Service Description
🌾 UNTIL NEXT YEAR — Seed Saving & Garden Closing Day! 📅 Friday, October 10th | 11:00 AM 📍 MGTCC This is it — the final chapter of our Forest School pollinator garden series. 🌱 We planted. We picked a spot. We built the planter. We transplanted, harvested, and learned what these plants can do. And now? We save the seeds so the whole thing can start again. On October 10th, youth will collect seeds from our garden using real seed-saving techniques, label their own vials, and take them HOME as a keepsake from a garden they helped bring to life. Then we'll spend some time winterizing the planter — tucking it in for the season so it wakes up strong next spring. This one is a celebration. Come help us close the garden with the same hands that opened it. 🌾✨ ✅ Every youth takes home labeled seed vials ✅ Hands-on seed saving with real plant ID skills ✅ Garden winterizing as a group ✅ All ages welcome — no experience needed New to the project? You're still welcome. Come see what this community grew.
