Arcadia Community Center

Service Description

Calling all young explorers! This summer, NoMi Forest Explorers is partnering with Manistee Conservation District for Nature Quest — a three-day Outdoor Adventure for curious kids ages Pre-K to 8 (and yes, older siblings are absolutely welcome too)! Over three mornings at the Arcadia Community Center surrounding areas, children and their caregivers will dive into the natural world through stories, hands-on exploration, creative art, and good old-fashioned play. Each day brings a new adventure: we'll go fishing at Grebe Park, hike Baldy Trailhead, learn to spot and identify birds & more at the marsh, and fill our nature journals with sketches and discoveries. Lunch is provided each day, so all you need to do is show up ready to explore! This is a wonderful opportunity for little ones to build a love of the outdoors in a gentle, guided setting — no prior experience needed, just curiosity and a sense of wonder. When: Tuesday–Thursday, June 16–18, from 10:00am–1:00pm each day Where to meet: Arcadia Community Center Who it's for: Kids ages Pre-K to 8 (older siblings welcome!) Cost: Free!
