Weekly Forest School
Drop-In Fee ($5) Nature hikes, science exploration stations, free-play, journaling - free to members
Service Description
Our Weekly Forest School sessions offer hands-on, child-led learning rooted in nature. Activities shift with the seasons and the interests of the group, but may include nature hikes, foraging and plant identification, fort building, mud kitchen play, and open-ended exploration. Children also have opportunities to engage with learning stations such as tinkering and tools, PlantWave, microscopes, and other inquiry-based materials—all alongside plenty of time for free play, movement, and discovery. Each session is designed to foster curiosity, confidence, creativity, and a deep connection to the natural world while allowing children to learn at their own pace and in community with others. Additional details on specific weekly plans, locations, and dates can be found on our Facebook page “NoMi Forest Explorers” under the Events tab, or by clicking here: 👉 https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61573858863717&sk=events
